Terms of use
These terms govern the use of this website (raisepoint.nl) and the Raisepoint platform (app.raisepoint.nl). By using either, you accept them. If you are using Raisepoint on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are entitled to accept them for that firm.

1. Who we are
Raisepoint is registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 42098784. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Raisepoint; "you" means the person or firm using the service.
2. What Raisepoint is
Raisepoint is a research service for professional users. It assembles evidence about defence-sector companies from public sources - company registers, public procurement portals, companies' own disclosures and published reporting - and presents it in a structured form, with each statement traced to where it came from.
It is a source of evidence for your own analysis. It is not investment advice, legal advice or a recommendation to enter into any transaction, and nothing in it should be read as one.
3. Access and accounts
Access is invite-led, not open registration. We decide who is admitted and we may decline a request without giving reasons. Accounts are personal: keep your credentials to yourself, do not share a login, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where the firm's agreement with us has ended.
4. What you may do with the content
While your access is active, you may use the content inside your own firm - read it, quote it in your internal analysis, and rely on it as one input among others in your own decisions.
You may not:
- republish, resell, syndicate or otherwise make the content available outside your firm, except where we have agreed that in writing;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the platform, or use automated means to access it beyond ordinary use;
- copy the platform, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing product;
- circumvent access controls, rate limits or any other technical restriction;
- use the content in breach of export-control, sanctions or other applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
The platform, this website, and the way our research is structured, verified and presented are ours or our licensors'. Nothing here transfers ownership; you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your access lasts. Underlying facts drawn from public records belong to nobody, and we do not claim them.
6. The limits of what we publish
We work from public sources, and public sources are incomplete. A company register can be out of date; a procurement portal can be missing an award; a company's own website can overstate what it has built. We label the origin and strength of each item so that you can judge it, and when a signal is not supported by the record we say so rather than assert the opposite. But we cannot warrant that everything is accurate, current or complete, and an absence in our data is not proof of an absence in the world.
Treat Raisepoint as a starting point that shortens diligence, not as a substitute for it. Decisions with money or legal consequences attached remain yours, and should rest on your own verification.
7. Third-party sources and links
The service cites and links to material published by others. We do not control it, we are not responsible for it, and a citation is not an endorsement.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running and to improve it, which means it changes. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may take it down for maintenance or change features. Where a separate written agreement with your firm sets a service level, that agreement prevails over this section.
9. Fees
Commercial terms - fees, term, renewal, the scope of your firm's licence - are set in the separate written agreement with your firm. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement prevails.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, lost opportunity or lost data, or for decisions you take on the basis of the service. Our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees your firm paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Personal data
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top. If a change materially affects users with accounts, we will tell them by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have to bring a claim elsewhere.
